Minor in Gender and Sexuality Studies

Requirements for a Minor in Gender and Sexuality Studies (28 units) (Courses may be taken in any order).

IMPORTANT NOTE: Required and elective classes in one's major degree can simultaneously be applied toward the minor in Gender and Sexuality Studies.

  1. Choose eight units from among the following courses:

    • Special Topic Courses: Students may receive credit toward an elective for the Gender and Sexuality Studies Minor for special topic courses offered in other departments that take gender, gender identity, or sexual orientation as the main focus of the course. Contact the coordinator of the Gender and Sexuality Studies Program for permission.
